Frequently asked questions
Split system or ducted – which is right for me?
Split systems suit cooling one or a few rooms and cost less to install. Ducted systems cool the whole home from one unit with discreet vents in each room. We’ll recommend the best fit for your layout and how you use the space.
How often should my air conditioner be serviced?
Most systems benefit from a service at least once a year, ideally before summer. Regular servicing keeps the system efficient, improves air quality and helps catch small faults early.
Does an air conditioner need its own circuit?
Many larger systems do, and some older switchboards need an upgrade to handle the extra load. As electricians, we check this during the quote and include any electrical work needed.
Do you service systems you didn’t install?
Yes. We service and repair split and ducted systems regardless of who installed them.
